WE'RE GOING WITH ONE BIG CAMP IN 2025:
VIETNAM!
Due to popular demand, we are going to push the April camp in Thailand back to 2026, and open up the doors to Hoi An for all levels of player. We know some of you were looking forward to the warmth of late April in the Thai sunshine... but it's ok, we'll have that ready and waiting for you in 2026. In the meantime, you can look forward to the warmth of late August in the Vietnamese sunshine!
THIS CAMP IS FULL!
So, the doors are now open to reserve your spot for Hoi An, Vietnam. Warriors BV are going to be putting on another of the most excitingly awesomest, funnest and enjoyingablest training camps ever created in the history of beach volleyball camps.
From the 25th - 29th August, 2025, we're going to Hoi An, Vietnam. It'll be a camp now open to ALL levels, from advanced to beginner, with a focus on hard work and a whole lotta fun!
We'll have great deals on accommodation, sick merchandise and a whole lot of cool crew improving their skills and meeting new peeps.
Vietnam will be nice and warm, at exactly the same time as Melbourne is cold, and wet. We'll be getting in and out about a month before the monsoon season kicks in, so nicely squeezed between the high and low seasons.
Hội An is a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. The former port city’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture, a mix of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shophouses and temples to colorful French colonial buildings, ornate Vietnamese tube houses and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge with its pagoda.
Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.
We have published our itinerary in the travelling group. Here's a rough guide to the daily sessions:
7:30AM-9AM | The Morning Hustle - Advanced/intermediate training
9AM-10:30AM | The Relaxed Wake-up - Lower intermediate
10:30am-12PM | Post-Buffet Technique - Advanced/intermediate training
4PM-6PM | The Avo Sessions - CRT1: Advanced/intermediate CRT2: Lower intermediate
6PM - Late | Social game-play
Please note, sessions are not mandatory. If you have planned a day trip somewhere and can't do a session, let us know. We're all good. The bottom line is, we want you to have fun.
SOCIAL
We'll be in a resort with a whole bunch of cool stuff to do, from tennis courts, archery, soccer, beach sports, gym, yoga, massage, party evenings, game evenings as well as a whole host of kid stuff for anyone bringing some little ones. The resort is massive! Throw in all the touristy stuff outside the resort, and you'll never be without an option.
It'll be fun! Join us...
We will be finishing off the training camp with a massive inter-crew tournament. The tournament set-up will be determined by how many peeps we have at the camp. It'll be a multi-sport, mixed level teams comp. As with the camp itself, you can choose to join in on the fun, or do your own thing.

Just over 6 weeks to go and Expedia have gone and dropped their prices to the lowest we've seen. There will, as always be further drops, and we'll try to find them. That's a seriously awesome price!
We'll keep an eye out for the next deal.

Do you have to stay at the location?
No. There will be alternative options, but, we'll be agreeing deals to ensure the location we choose gives us the best possible price.
-----
What is the estimated budget you should expect for the camp?
This depends on who you fly with, when you plan to arrive and leave, whether you stay at the location and factoring in the camp costs. Using the 2024 camp as a guide, 2k should be a safe number. This wouldn't include the spending you do at a night market, the endless cheap massages you endure of an evening, or the hire of a scooter. 2k should do it.
-----
Is this camp OK for beginner/intermediate level players? Or are you expecting only advanced level players?
This camp is for all levels. We will have sessions catering to each level - beginner/intermediate/advanced intermediate. Gameplay under lights, in the evenings will be social... so, you can play wherever you feel you best fit in.
-----
Do you need a visa? Should we get insurance?
Yes. And yes. For Australian citizens, you must acquire a visa before entering Vietnam. Vietnam does grant visas for Australian citizens on arrival. However, the visa application process is much easier if the Australian passport holder applies for a Vietnam visa online. Vietnam has an e-visa option which, according to google-land is $25 for a single entry.
We recommend you purchase travel insurance. You may find you have it as a benefit of your credit card, or with your current health insurance. We will have some travel insurance options, in the soon to be announced Whatsapp group. That said, Vietnam may change their Visa policy between now and then. We'll let everyone know if we end up in another country.
-----
So, a deposit confirms a spot?
Yes. Unless we run out of spots...
-----
What is the capacity of the camp?
TBC. The 2024 camp had 32. This number will depend on the space for courts we have available.
-----
Does the camp fee include accommodation, food, flights?
No. The camp fee includes ALL group training sessions, the Saturday inter-crew event and merch. Flights, accommodation, travel insurance, food etc. are all separate.
-----
Is the 'inter-crew' tournament a compulsory part of the camp?
No. The inter-crew tournament is a fun way to end the camp. We are yet to confirm this tournament, but aim to have it run.
-----
Is training compulsory?
No. We know this camp is as much a holiday as it is a training camp, so if you want to go on a day tour and it leaves early... you can miss a training session. You may go out for the day and want to continue it into the evening, you can miss a session. We want you to have fun, and get better while doing it.
-----
If training is in the morning and late afternoon/evening... what do we do during the day?
Whatever you want! Treat it like a holiday. Cos, it kinda is. There will be a bunch of touristy things on offer. The Robinson - Nam Hoi An, has so much happening... you could pool hop, among a bunch of pools! Play tennis, soccer, hang on the beach, and swim in the South China Sea. Enjoy the warmth.
We will add more frequently asked questions right about here... as those questions come in.
